FAQs
1. How do I view the current sensor readings during the Maintenance Period?
The CAM+ website will be unavailable during the maintenance period. However, monitoring and alarming via email, SMS, and voice calls will continue as normal.
To view the current readings from sensors (e.g., temperature or humidity readings), you can use the WARP panel screen to check:
- Current readings from sensors
- Status of the WARP (connectivity, power source)
- Current reading and status of each sensor (reading, battery level, health, alarm status, pending and active alarms)
2. Will alarms still be generated and notified?
Yes, alarm notifications (email, SMS, Voice calls) will continue to be sent to keyholders.
3. What do I do during an alarm condition?
During an alarm condition, users will not be able to log into the website to look at historical sensor readings. To view the current status of any sensor, please use the WARP Panel LCD Interface.
For acknowledging, approving, or signing off incidents/alarm conditions, please follow your Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). If no SOPs exist, it is recommended to store and enter required activities into the CAM+ website once the service is fully restored. Customers can contact Customer Support to put sensors into isolation if needed.
4. Will my data need backfilling?
No, this will not be needed. During the maintenance period, all sensor readings will continue to be collected and transmitted to Checkit’s Cloud. Once the CAM+ service is fully restored, these readings will be available for reporting and analysis.
5. More information about WARP Panel functionality
For detailed information about WARP Panel functionality, please refer to the WARP Hardware Users Guide (pages 8-15) available via the CAM+ Library. Click the Library Icon on the Site List page.
6. After the CAM+ service is restored, how will I know if everything is working satisfactorily?
Checkit will update the Maintenance Period Status page to indicate the current status of the planned maintenance and notify the successful restoration of the CAM+ Service.
