Update: May 31, 2024
In recent weeks, we've received reports from some Ulefone Armor 14 Pro users about overheating issues when using the wireless charger. This overheating can lead to battery expansion, causing the screen and casing to crack. We have been collaborating closely with Ulefone to address and resolve this issue.
The Solution: Smart-Charge Mode
Ulefone has introduced a new feature called Smart-Charge Mode to combat this problem. When Smart-Charge Mode is enabled, the device will not charge beyond 70%, effectively preventing overheating and potential damage.
Important: To maintain your warranty, you must enable Smart-Charge Mode.
Please note that after this update, charging will not be available until your device is at or below 30% charge
Enabling Smart-Charge Mode
Follow these steps to activate Smart-Charge Mode on your Ulefone Armor 14 Pro:
- Initiate Safe Mode:
- Hold the power button until the shutdown and restart options appear.
- Long press "Restart."
- A dialog will appear to reboot the device in safe mode. Tap "OK."
- Wait for the device to restart.
- Enable Always on Charge Mode:
- Go to Settings > Battery.
- Toggle on "Always on Charge Mode."
- Tap "OK."
- Restart the Device:

If you don't see the "Always on Charge Mode" toggle, follow these additional steps:
- Ensure your device has at least a 30% charge.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen twice to reveal a list of icons, then disable airplane mode.
- Go to Settings > System > System Update.
- Tap "Check for Updates."
- Tap "Download."
- Wait for the update to download and install.
- Tap "Restart" immediately.
Once your device has restarted, repeat the steps to enable Smart-Charge Mode.
