Ensuring your probe is always powered and ready to use is essential for optimal performance. Follow this simple step-by-step guide to replace the battery when needed:
Step 1: Remove the End Cap
When your probe runs out of power, the first step is to remove the end cap. Turn the end cap anti-clockwise (left) until it detaches from the probe.
Step 2: Locate and Remove the Battery
Inside the probe, you will find a CR123A 3-volt battery. Carefully remove the battery from its compartment.
Step 3: Insert the New Battery
Replace the old battery with a new CR123A 3-volt battery. Ensure that you align the battery correctly by observing the orientation and polarity:

Negative terminal should be pressed against the spring in the battery holder.
Step 4: Confirm Successful Battery Replacement
After inserting the new battery, check for a red LED light on the underside of the probe. If the battery has been inserted correctly, the red LED will blink to indicate that the probe now has power.
Step 5: Reattach the End Cap
Finally, press the end cap back onto the probe and turn it clockwise (right) until it is securely fastened.
Your probe is now ready for use!
