Overview of this training session
The Alerts Report offers an in-depth look into the alerts generated and actions taken across different locations within a specified date range. Here’s a quick guide to make the most of its features:
1. Accessing and Navigating the Report
- Viewing a Location’s Alerts: Select the location you’re interested in from the list on the left. If you have multiple pages, use the search bar or navigation arrows to locate your site.
- Setting Date Ranges: The default view shows alerts from today and the previous day, but you can adjust this by using the quick search feature or manually selecting dates from the calendar.
2. Customizing Report Filters
- Sort by Date: Choose to view alerts from newest to oldest or vice versa.
- Filter by Alert Type: Select a specific type, like sensor alerts or overdue alerts, to open related fields. For example:
- Sensor Alerts: Displays fields for sensor names and associated teams.
- Service Alerts: Shows relevant sensor details.
- Check or Overdue Alerts: Opens team and checklist fields for streamlined filtering.
- Refreshing the Grid: After adjusting filters, hit the magnifying glass icon to refresh and apply the updated results.
3. Understanding Alert Status and Details
Each alert entry provides comprehensive details:
- Alert Status Colors:
- Gray - Alert is cleared.
- Amber - Alert has been acknowledged but is pending resolution.
- Red - Alert is still outstanding and requires attention.
- Detailed Alert Information: Each row includes alert timing, type, and specifics like checklist or sensor names and any associated rules. If an attachment (like a photo) is present, it will display as a paperclip icon for easy access.
4. Viewing and Expanding Alert Details
To view a single alert’s details, click its header. Alternatively, you can expand all alerts at once by selecting "Expand All" on the right. The report reveals:
- Action and Response Timeline: See who acknowledged or cleared the alert and the time lapse between alert creation, acknowledgment, and resolution.
5. Exporting the Report
For easy sharing and record-keeping, export the report as a CSV file by selecting the export button at the top. You can then save or access it directly from the folder.
6. Switching to the Work Report
For further insights, you can switch directly from the Alerts Report to the Work Report by using the switch bar or returning to the dashboard.
The Alerts Report provides a powerful tool for tracking alerts across teams, promoting timely resolutions, and maintaining a documented history for accountability.
