The acquisition of Next Control Systems (“Next”), announced on 15 May 2019, marks another milestone for customers who are seeking smart solutions that manage key aspects of operational and business performance.
Next Control Systems, a leader in temperature monitoring for healthcare and life sciences through its Tutela brand, and Building Energy Management Systems (“BEMS”) through its Next and Axon brands, will be combined with Checkit to help companies run better by connecting “data, things and people” into smart applications that:
- automate processes
- provide real-time visibility, monitoring and insight
- guide key work
- ensure compliance
Combining product strengths, extending markets, creating opportunities for new propositions
The combined organisation will have product strengths in work management, environmental monitoring, compliance and building and energy management. This will create opportunities to deliver new, compelling propositions to our target markets.
Keith Daley, Executive Chair of Checkit noted how – with the addition of Next Control Systems– Checkit is strengthening its position to deliver on its vision of Real-Time Operations Management: “This acquisition significantly enhances the Checkit value proposition in its capabilities, services and demonstration of scale. We look forward to realising the many opportunities offered by the combination of Checkit and Next.”
How the combination will work
The combined organisation will continue to operate at its existing locations, thereby maintaining high levels of customer service and using mutual strengths to support customers at scale. All contacts and communication channels will remain in place. Customers or partners should route enquiries through their account managers for more information.
