Checkit was named Top Ranked Company Overall and Top Ranked Technology Company in the Ambition Nation Listed 50 Awards for 2020.
The Ambition Nation Listed 50 identifies the 50 leading smaller UK-listed companies based on growth and quality. Shortlisted companies are ranked according to The Slide Rule, the equity analysis tool of the award organiser, finnCap.
The award is an independent recognition of Checkit’s commitment to innovation, which empowers large organisations with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tools to streamline the management of dispersed workforces, complex processes and important physical assets.
In an interview with the award organisers, Keith Daley, Executive Chairman said: “We work with large multisite organisations to enable them to digitally organise and analyse various tasks across their operations. This year has been challenging but Checkit has an important role to play in the new world. Digital transformation has accelerated and, with the increase in remote working, we see a growing need for technology that helps manage people and processes that are widely spread.”
Raymond Greaves, Head of Research at finnCap, explained “Our selection process for Ambition Nation Listed 50 is driven by our in-house developed company analysis system, Slide Rule. What we are particularly looking for are those UK smaller companies that appear to have strong growth prospects and strong return on capital (ROCE). Our analysis has shown that many companies that display these characteristics go on to perform extremely well, both as a business and in share price terms. When we ran this assessment in September 2019 to generate the 2019/20 cohort, Checkit had the best blend of projected growth and ROCE in the universe of companies that we considered, hence topped the ranking overall, and within the tech sector.”
