Temperature monitoring crucial to fertility services at Sims IVF
We provided Ireland’s leading group of fertility clinics, Sims IVF, with a comprehensive monitoring system to ensure tissues, samples and cells are processed and stored in optimum conditions around the clock.
The below content was written prior to May 2020 when Checkit launched a new website. This coincided with the use of updated terminology for solutions, concepts and company names. The companies Tutela, Axon and Next Control Systems are now Checkit. Checkit’s Real-time Operations Management is now referred to as Connected Workflow Management, Tutela solutions are now referred to as Automated Monitoring +, and Axon/Next Control Systems solutions are now referred to as Connected Building Management.
Sims IVF, Ireland’s leading group of fertility clinics, required continuous monitoring throughout the processing and storage of tissues and cells. This means monitoring the environment where patient’s embryos are grown to ensure that it matches the conditions that would be expected inside the womb. Any deviation from this environment (temperature, CO2 and O2) must be reported and corrected 24/7, 365 days per year. The requirements are a legal and financial necessity. We provided a monitoring system to ensure complete confidence.
